Wholesale FAQ
Wholesale Accounts & Ordering
How do I become a Greenwood Leather stockist?
Complete our Become a Stockist application form with your business details. Once your application is reviewed and approved, you will be able to log in, view your applicable wholesale pricing and place B2B orders.
Why can’t I see wholesale prices?
Wholesale pricing is only available to approved Greenwood Leather wholesale accounts.
If you have already applied but your account is still awaiting approval, you may be able to sign in, but wholesale pricing and ordering will remain unavailable until your account is approved.
What is the minimum wholesale order?
The minimum order value is:
- Australia: AUD $300
- New Zealand: NZD $300
The minimum applies to the goods value before freight and applicable taxes.
Can I order different colours of the same product together?
Yes. Where a product is available in multiple colour variants, you can enter quantities for several colours from the same product page and add them to your order together.
Our Quick Order functionality also makes it easier to order multiple products and SKUs without opening every individual product page.
Can I reorder a previous order?
Yes. Approved wholesale customers can access their account and view previous orders.
Where available, you can use the reorder functionality to quickly rebuild a previous order, subject to current pricing and stock availability.
Can I change or cancel an order after placing it?
Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel an order.
We will do our best to assist, but once picking, packing or dispatch has started, changes or cancellation may no longer be possible.
Pricing & Payment
Are wholesale prices inclusive of GST?
Unless otherwise stated, wholesale prices are shown excluding applicable GST or other applicable taxes.
Applicable tax is calculated according to your market and order requirements.
Why are Australian and New Zealand prices different?
Greenwood Leather operates separate B2B pricing for Australia and New Zealand.
Australian approved customers see their applicable pricing in AUD, while New Zealand approved customers see their applicable pricing in NZD.
Australia and New Zealand generally draw from the same inventory pool, but the wholesale pricing for each market may differ.
Do you offer payment terms?
Approved wholesale customers may be offered 30-day payment terms, subject to Greenwood Leather approval.
Customers without approved credit terms must pay using the payment options provided at checkout or on their invoice.
Shipping & Delivery
How is freight charged?
- Australia: Freight is charged at the actual shipping cost applicable to your order.
- New Zealand: Freight is charged at 10% of the goods value of the order before freight and applicable taxes.
There is currently no free-freight threshold for wholesale orders.
When will my order be delivered?
Wholesale orders are normally dispatched within 2–3 business days after confirmation.
- Australia: Estimated delivery is approximately 2–5 business days after dispatch.
- New Zealand: Estimated delivery is approximately 5–8 business days after dispatch.
Delivery timeframes are estimates and can vary because of location, carrier delays, peak periods, weather or other circumstances outside Greenwood Leather’s reasonable control.
How can I track my order?
Tracking information will be provided where available once your order has been dispatched.
If your delivery appears significantly delayed, please contact the Greenwood Leather wholesale team and provide your order or invoice number so we can assist.
What happens if an item is out of stock?
Stock availability is shown through the wholesale website where available.
If an ordered product becomes unavailable, it may be placed on backorder and we will advise you.
You may request cancellation of an unfulfilled backordered item before it is dispatched.
Returns, Damage & Warranty
Can I return my wholesale order?
Wholesale change-of-mind returns are not generally accepted unless Greenwood Leather agrees to the return in writing.
Please contact us before returning any product. All wholesale returns require prior approval and return instructions.
Your applicable statutory rights remain unaffected.
What should I do if my order arrives damaged, incorrect or incomplete?
Please contact Greenwood Leather within 7 days of delivery if your shipment contains:
- Damaged goods
- Incorrect products
- Incorrect quantities
- Missing items
Please provide your order or invoice number, affected SKU(s), details of the issue and clear photographs where relevant.
Do not return the product until you receive instructions from us.
What should I do if a product has a manufacturing fault?
Greenwood Leather provides a 12-month manufacturing-defect warranty on wholesale products.
Please send us:
- Order/invoice number
- Product name and SKU
- Description of the issue
- Clear photographs of the fault
Once assessed, an accepted claim may be resolved by repair, replacement, account credit or refund, as appropriate.
What is not normally covered by the warranty?
The manufacturing warranty does not normally cover:
Normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, improper care or storage, unauthorised alterations or repairs, or damage caused after delivery through improper handling.
Natural variations in genuine leather are also not automatically considered defects.
Leather & Products
Why does the colour or grain of my leather product vary?
Leather is a natural material, so variations in grain, texture, colour, tone, markings and natural scarring may occur.
These characteristics are part of genuine leather and help make each product unique. They are not, by themselves, considered manufacturing defects.
Are the RRPs shown on the website compulsory?
No. Any RRP displayed by Greenwood Leather is a recommended retail price only.
Retailers remain responsible for determining their own selling prices.
